Florence
Florence was actually the 7th place in Italy that I've visited, and what a treat it was.
Florence is similar to Bologna in that it’s a hidden gem.
Located very close to the Tuscan hills, you can absolutely combine a trip to some of the many wineries that are located in Tuscany! And let’s not forget about Florentine Steaks - OMG.
Although everyone wants an Italian summer thanks to Instagram inspo, I did go in August and it was craaazy hot for my english skin. 42 degrees meant we were limited in what activities we could do without melting.
That being said, this made for the perfect trip to Cinque Terre!
