Mykonos is a beautiful island. I love strolling through the winding streets and browsing in all of the cute little shops, and let's not forget eating my weight in Souvlaki.

It's easily accessible from Athens, Santorini and Naxos, and is a great stop for a few nights if you are island hopping. It's also a perfect honeymoon or holiday destination for 1-2 weeks.

And if you're wanting a lavish hen do or holiday with your mates, it's great for that too.

Whatever kind of holiday you're after, Mykonos will be able to accommodate.

Head to Mykonos Old Town for a quieter/local experience, whereas Paradise Beach is the place to stay if you're looking for the beach parties and nightlife.

No stop in Mykonos would be complete without a trip to the Windmills and Little Venice, so add those to your list!
