Having travelled all around Australia, there are definitely places that I prefer to Sydney for a visit - WA is everything. However, if I had to live anywhere in Australia, it would be Sydney time and time again.

Similarly to London, each Suburb is completely different and you will find unique quirks, shops, bars and people in each. There are so many worth visiting.

The lockout laws are slowly becoming a thing of the past, and so the nightlife is coming back from the dead.

Sydney is best experienced in the Summer, when you can catch the epic New Years fireworks, relax on the beach and put a Shrimp on the Barbie at Christmas.
