Lisbon has so much going on! Food, drink, views, culture, art, and don't forget the weather! But right now I'm here to tell you what there is to see, so keep following for my Lisbon's top sights.

1. Torre de Belem
Built in the 16th Century, Belem Tower is one of the most recognisable buildings in Lisbon. You can pay to go inside for a closer look, or admire from the outside if you wish! This is out of the city centre and located next to Jeronimos Monastery, so spend some time exploring this area as a whole!
2. Jeronimos Monastery
Whilst you’re visiting Torre de Belem, hop across the road to the UNESCO heritage listed Monastery! The architecture is amazing - come to think of it, I find that all Monasteries look incredible! There’s a fair bit of history between Torre de Belem and Jeronimos Monastery, so definitely check both of them out.

3. Santa Justa Lift
Opened in 1902, this lift will take you to a viewing platform where you will find stunning views of the whole city - it’s very picturesque. I must add that it’s possible to get to this viewing platform without paying for the lift, as there are stairs at the back that you can take. However it is a cool experience and the lift is very ‘vintage’ itself, and so I’d say go for it!
4. Castelo de S. Jorge
For a bit more history visit Saint George’s Castle! It’s home to not only the Castle but forestry, a chamber, and a great viewpoint of the city! You can take a guided tour or just go round at your own pace.
5. Padrão dos Descobrimentos
Also located in the Belem area is this fascinating monument. It’s located right on the River edge and celebrates the Portuguese ‘Age of Exploration’. This is a cool building to look at from the outside, as the sculpted people on the side of the monument tell a great story. However you can also pay a small fee to go inside and up the monument if you wish!

6. Praça do Comércio
Take a look at this large square near the water, and get a snap under the Arco da Rua Augusta. Whichever way you’re facing in this square, you’ll be treated with a great view!
