Top sights in Mykonos

V Adventures

Mykonos is known for its beautiful beaches, great nightlife and windy weather, but there is a lot more to see and do than meets the eye!

Welcome to your blog post. Use this space to connect with your readers and potential customers in a way that’s current and interesting. Think of it as an ongoing conversation where you can share updates about business, trends, news, and more.

“Do you have a design in mind for your blog? Whether you prefer a trendy postcard look or you’re going for a more editorial style blog - there’s a stunning layout for everyone.”

You’ll be posting loads of engaging content, so be sure to keep your blog organized with Categories that also allow visitors to explore more of what interests them.

1. Flour Mills of Mykonos

This is probably the most famous spot in Mykonos and is a photo that has been seen countless times! The Flour Mills are pretty impressive though I will admit, and when you get to Mykonos and see just how windy it is, you’ll easily understand how they were wind operated!

2. Little Venice

This is such a cute and picturesque spot in Mykonos Town, and is where you can grab a bite to eat or a drink and stare at the view. It’s a great spot to head to at sunset and the colourful buildings make for a great backdrop!

3. Delos

I took a ½ day trip to Delos from Mykonos which was epic! If you’re into Greek Mythology [and if you’re not, you should be. It’s so interesting!] you will know that Delos is where the mighty Apollo was born, and it is now a UNESCO heritage site! It’s definitely worth a look if you’ve got the time.

4. Mykonos Town

Just like the beaches, there are different sides to Mykonos Island that you should visit depending on the experience you want. I loved Mykonos Town, which is where the port is for those of you catching the ferry to Mykonos. It’s where all of the winding, iconic alleys are and it’s also home to the Windmills and Little Venice! Go and check it out for sure, there’s a lot happening here without it being the ‘party’ area.

5. The Beaches

Mykonos is home to some of the best beaches. They are all so diverse so pick and choose carefully to suit the experience you want, otherwise you may end up for a surprise! For example, Paradise Beach is very much the place to go if you are looking to party, have some cocktails and be around lots of people. Ornos Beach is still has a lot going on, but is more family-friendly. If you’re after complete peace and quiet, head to somewhere like Paralia Ftelias. You can also pre-book sunbeds for a lot of beaches which I strongly recommend if you are going in peak season. I used Beach Dibs to book mine and it worked a treat!
